Are you going on a Job Interview?
Remember that you are interviewing the company as much as they are interviewing you, so don’t hesitate to ask questions. And besides, they expect you to ask at least one question - make it a good one!
Pro tip: Bring a pad & pen to take notes! And send the interviewer an email thank-you note and reiterate your interest in the role, once you’ve returned home.
Questions to ask the Interviewer
How many employees work at this location?
How many people are on this team?
What kind of training/professional development do you offer?
What are your expectations for this role?
What are you looking for in a candidate?
How long have you been here and what do you like about working here?
What is your management style?
How soon are you looking to fill the position?
Why is this position open?
Are you interviewing with many candidates?
What do you value most in an employee?
Who does this position report to?
You don't have to ask all of these questions but make sure you ask the ones that you truly want to have answers for and that will help you understand the role and the company culture!
Good luck!
